Winter Trend: The 70's
Designers constantly look to the past in creating tomorrow's fashion, and at this year's MBFWA, one decade was clearly the favoured source of inspiration: the '70s.
From floaty dresses and bohemian prints at Bec + Bridge to the exaggerated flares debuted by Ellery, the '70s was certainly the decade of choice for the designers of MBFWA 2015. We’ve put together a gallery that captures various appropriations of the decade, from refined silk pantsuits to bright, bold psychedelic patterns; reflecting both the diversity of the culture and the aesthetic of each individual brand.
